Here's my two cents on the the Solar Site.

The opening page looks good; as others have said it's good to
get the graphics no graphics question out of the way early on
because of the nature of the site. Looking at the background
image on the university Pentium terminals seems to work okay -
the colors are pretty true... looks good...

I do have a problem with some of the links inside the site. I
went to the math section, and then to the math standards of
learning link. Reading the introduction took me to the bottom
of the page where I saw a link that would take me back to the
_table of contents_. Hmmm, I thought. I don't want to goall
the way back there. You need to label this page table of
contents so that I know where I'm linking, and I don't think
you wanna label THIS page table of contents - maybe the page
before this one should be table of contents... this problem is
also apparent when you look at the individual standards... the
link at the bottom allows you to go forewards and backwards and
back to the table of contents... except in the kindegarden
page, where you can only go back to the menu before (???).

Aesthetically, the page works really well. Information seems
to be well organized as well... I'd like to see it in a week to
see what's changed.

Good luck
