on the solar site:

i think that the visual appeal of your page is excellent. it visually
adheres to the subject matter you are presenting...kind of cheery happy
lets-all-learn invoking. your title page is presented well also--its a
good idea to present immediately the text-only option. however, i went to
the text only, and i think that the "solar web builders" link is a little
misleading... if i am not mistaken, this is the way you want teachers to
email and/or submit things. Perhaps you could make this more clear in the
link's title.
along with alison, i think the graphics do kind of resemble clip art and
could be revised to fit with the other more aesthetically pleasing graphic
elements of the page...maybe along the lines of that crayon-type sunshine?
as they are now, the pictures remind me of those flashcards in french
class in elementary school where you had to describe what the people were
doing...just an aside there, sorry.
i assume you all are still in the process of getting icons for the math
page...(if not i think they would look good. and i agree that the white
box should be a little smaller, or the other icons be larger...also the
buttons and links key and the return to title page seem to run together.
in your math page, the outline at the beginning is ideal...its a really
good way to avoid impatient wading.
good job mark on the lesson plan thing.
looks great!
overall, i think you guys have a wonderful site.
i'm sure the solar people agree.
