I've got a question about string-range, as defined by: http://www.tei-c.org/release/doc/tei-p5-doc/en/html/SA.html#SATSSR Do characters in comments count? I'm guessing not, but mainly due to the similarity of the term "character positions" used there with the term "character data" in the XML standard. But it's a guess. cheers stuart
