but only the crude simple import, not the cool stuff with xpointer. anyway,
I am probably wrong, I thought saxon did not support it.

perhaps we're getting hung up on the word "transclude". let's go
back to HTML - to my mind <graphic> == <img> and
<ptr> == <a>.  which are surely different beasts?
