I have no recollection of this at all. A search, however, reveals that Lou posted "[Fwd: Re: Language codes]" to tei-chars on 2004-06-16 13:15+0100, to which there was only 1 reply by Martin Duerst approx 22 hours later. This posting discusses a draft of ISO 639-6.
