No, I applied Sebastians "patch", (as I explained at the beginning of
this thread) that is, I just copied everything he sent over the CVS
checkout, which was one reason for all this mess.

Yes, of course, but in this case it did not really help.  Sebastian, I
hope you are back to using CVS soon:-)
