[tei-council] new TEI Council members

Dear Council members,

I would like to extend my welcome to the new members, James and John
and to the reelected members Alejandro and Susan!  This seems like a
very good mixture between continuity and change and I am looking
forward to work with you!  And I would like to thank David Birnbaum
and David Durand for devoting their time and energy to the work here
on the Council, which has been much appreciated.

The TEI Council is doing most of its business via this list or
conference calls, in recent years we did have one face to face meeting
a year, that happened to be in May on the last occasions.  Our next
conference call is scheduled for Nov. 29, 1300 UTC.  -- The
information about the call is outdated, Perry used to host the calls
when he was in Indiana, then David Durand took over hosting them.  I
will post call information together with the agenda here a week or so
before the call.  BTW, it looks like we have to look for a new host next
year, with David rotating off the Council.

On the TEI website at http://www.tei-c.org/Council are some pages with
minutes and other information about the work of the council.
