    Jerry McDonough, Director of the NYU Digital Library Group
    (http://www.nyu.edu/library/bobst/collections/digilib/digicollhome.html),
    will be here on Tuesday, January 29th to give a presentation on METS
    (Metadata Encoding & Transmission Standard ) as well as to consult
    generally on the UVA's "Supporting Digital Scholarship" project, funded
    by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

    Members of the SDS Policy and Technical Committees are invited to
    attend all or part of an open discussion with Jerry at IATH from 9-11:30 a.m.
    on Tuesday the 29th.

    All interested parties are invited to Jerry's presentation on METS from 1-2
    p.m. on Tuesday, January 29th, in 322A Clemons, to be followed by a roundtable
    discussion until 3:00 p.m..
