Dear All
Some of you may have noticed that the adhoc web site was not updated
yesterday with the revised Exec Summary as intended. There seems to
have been some technical hitch, which has now been resolved, and the
site has now been updated. Sorry if this caused any confusion. The
key changes, as I think I indicated, are an extra clause in the initial
summary, trying to pick up Julia's points, an extra phrase in the
summary of Elisabeth's section, and one or two typos.
As you also know, John and I have now notified our respective
Council/Committee, and our papers will feature at the upcoming meetings
in Georgia.
Some weeks ago, we discussed the possibility that we might have a
pre-meeting on Wed 28. It transpired that this would not be feasible,
because of various commitments - e.g. workshops - but there seemed to
be general interest in meeting for dinner on that evening. Assuming
everyone is still in favour, I suggest that those of us who are going
to be there earlier in the week (e.g. Julia, Elisabeth and myself) will
assess the dinner options, and if necessary make a booking at some
suitable restaurant. We might perhaps go for 7.30pm as the start time.
If that suggestion finds favour, I'll undertake to ensure that the
venue details are given to everyone. In summary, we'll plan to meet
for dinner at 7.30pm on Wed 28th at a venue to be notified.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next week!
Best wishes
Harold
