Dear Colleagues:
On behalf of the hard-working student assistants in the IMIRSEL
group, I am proud to announce that the results for the 2006 running
of the Music Information Retrieval Evaluation eXchange (MIREX 2006)
are now available.

The MIREX 2006 participants will be convening at the International
Conference on Music Information Retrieval (ISMIR 2006 (Oct. 8-12),
Victoria, BC) to discuss the results and to plan for next year's
MIREX 2007. If you are interested in things Music Information
Retrieval, a visit to the ISMIR 2006 web page would be very much
worth your time as this year's papers and posters are very strong!:
