I would like to semi-seriously propose someone start a contest for the best
short essay on "Which Computer to Buy" with the winning entrant(s) to be
published in CHUM or the ACH Newsletter. (Richard Goerwitz' response would
be an excellent candidate.) It IS a question that is frequently asked in
forums such as this one, and usually generates much more smoke than light.
It would be nice to have some well-thought-out answers to refer people to.
