I don't. I like the idea that everyone should feel *comfortable*
standing if they wish to. I do not wish to stand this time, but
may stand again in the future.

I do like the idea of a multi-horse race (with no hard feelings
for those who don't sway the vote) as a good principle of democracy.

So far we have Lou and Hugh standing as Council Chair. Do we have
others who wish to throw their hats into the ring?

New members: don't feel that you can't stand because you are
'new' -- the work of the Chair is largely administrative and
being the 'servus servorum TEI'. In many ways it would be a good
way to force yourself to become familiar with its workings.

I'll be around to lend my support and advice to any chair. :-)
I'll also abstain from voting unless a tie-break is needed.

Best,
-James
