For the record, I believe that the consensus was that only 
elected members get a vote when we are undertaking any form of 
serious vote. If we are just having a quick show of hands to 
indicate opinions on an issue, I believe co-opted members can 
participate in that.  If in any doubt, ask the chair at the time. ;-)
