i don’t think “translation” is the right word here. the I18N-er
is asked to supply equivalent examples from the relevant
culture, if all goes well. we do like examples to be genuine,
after all.

anyway, whats the problem we’re trying to solve here? there
is no suggestion that the examples have fallen behind in the same
way the desc/gloss have. of course we have many places where there
is no example other than in English, and only French and Chinese
have even started on localised examples.
