the London to Oxford train is usually (and always on a Sunday, SFAICT) a rather horrible
commuter-type train. There _are_ nice trains to be had, but it's not normally a pleasurable
route.

the bus is comfortable, has a toilet, has free wifi (after a fashion), and is (almost always) efficiently on time.
the drivers are surprisingly human, in my experience.
