[tei-council] @version on schemaspec

There is no @version attribute on <schemaSpec> and its @status attribute 
is now deprecated. So I infer that the only way I can say "this 
<schemaSpec> is to be processed with reference to version x.y.z of the 
Guidelines" is by looking for @version on the ancestor <TEI> in which my 
<schemaSpec> appears. Am I right, or was I asleep at a crucial moment in 
the past (I was certainly asleep when <schemaSpec> was added as a 
possible child of <encodingDesc> but that's a different story) ?
