hmm. I can look at how to solve this. It is not intentional, but a side effect
(I _think_) of trying to render free-standing ODD documentation better. 
if I can, I will update the TEI-C web site, as that seems non-controversial.

my limbs are all in place, I am glad to say. still, missed a new personal
best by 4 seconds this morning, so rather limb-aggrieved.
