[tei-council] TEI Workgroups

Kevin and all,

I noticed a couple of what I took to be typos, one inherited from the
existing page and one in the new prose:

1) "Workgroups are not the only mechanism for proposing extensions of
modifications to the Guidelines" should read "Workgroups are not the only
mechanism for proposing extensions or modifications to the Guidelines"

2) "The following workgroups are currently under active under the
aegis . . . " should read "The following workgroups are currently active
under the aegis . . ."

The attached file incorporates these changes, under the questionable
assumption that I've interpreted aright.

In Chicago, Elena incidentally gave the background on these
"workgroups", so attached is a proposed revision to

As you'll see, I have:

a) added the feature structures workgroup (which was missing from the
page but is discoverable from the navigation menu at left)

b) Moved the two inactive workgroups to the "no longer active" section.

c) Added some context on workgroups vs. SIGs (thanks, Elena!)

d) Added the two active workgroups that I know of.

David Sewell: if no objections are raised by next weekend, please put up
this new version.
