Dear Colleague,

To confirm earlier messages, you are cordially invited to an informal supper
at my house around six pm on Monday, April 11. I am planning to barbecue
some lamb in honour of the season and get various veggies, white and red
wine, as well as beer, and other drinks.

Please let me know if you are planning to come. Do tell me about special
dietary needs. The general menu will allow anything from the vegan to the
carnivorous. 

Logistics will be simple. I'll arrange for taxis to pick you and take you
back. My house in Evanston is about 30 minutes by taxi. If you have friends
to visit but want to drop in a little later, you'll be most welcome. As they
say in German, "je später der Abend umso schöner die Gäste."
