In case you wondered what I was talking about, I have a trial setup of Hudson at http://rahtz.oucs.ox.ac.uk:8080/
running for a few days. Each time the Subversion repository has a change, it attempts a rebuild of the Guidelines.
This avoids the need for each developer to have to run the build and test tools themselves

Lots of refinement needed, but something to build on. I'll put it on a proper server if looks useful.
