[tei-council] xml:space in TEI

we used to have xml:space in att.global, but took it out for reasons I can't now recall. It is available
of <egXML> and <eg> via the att.xmlspace classes, also for reasons I can't now recall…..

The way to track this down is to look at Council  maillist prior to 23rd October 2007 when the change
was  made. Unless someone can remember off-hand...
