you might like to cite oddbyexample as
a demonstration of how flexible and efficient
we are with our system. I bet you couldn't
do the same with Docbook.

I do believe it works! This generated a schema of 67 K (compared with my
original 687 K schema), and all the documents validate against it except
for one, which has a genuine error, correctly reported.
