What if we left off the TEI Technology bit for right now as Laurent suggested?
Best is the enemy of good enough here, IMO. I think Lou has proposed a good distinction in the two types of badges, and we have a suggestion that we might be able to get a designer to handle it. If we need to think longer about one of the two tracks, I don't see how it need hold back the other.
I'd like to get the 'Powered by' button (however many options there are in the end) and a Member/Host/Subscriber badge approved so that we can start using them early in the new year as we start sending out invoices.

I agree, its hard. I appreciate what Lou is
asking for, but it may be hard for the casual
user to appreciate the distinction. Worth a try,
though.
