Fractal,

I at least was ready to admitt, that Mrs. Pieper wrote an unsurpassed
philosophical comment to 'Zarathustra', and this is great stuff and
pioneer-work (and in this case perhaps even a breakthrough). I do not know
any male philosopher who managed it like her, nor even tried to comment it
page for page. Strange enough that a female philosopher get such an access to
his work, think of the many not very refined invectives of Nietzsche
concerning her sex, which can create an emotional block, doubtlessly.
Concerning my presumed 'ignorance' I beg for your healing and sending me a
list of female philosophers who are not only phantastic interpreters of male
philosophers, but also able to construct something new and tremendous to help
my studying (I mean who set a milestone in the history of philosophy). I than
will converse at once.
A. Pieper is Dr.phil in Basel, editor of a fine history of modern ethics
('Geschichte der neueren Ethik', 2 Baende), and wrote an excellent
introduction into ethics ('Einfuehrung in die Ethik'). But to my opinion her
Zarathustra comment is her masterpiece and an enlightment for the mindful
reader. It is [Zarathustra] one of the difficultiest works in the history of
philosophy, although in an other way as e.g. some of Kant's, Hegel's or
Heidegger's works. Shall I make a bow? I do.
