As you probably know, the Spoon Collective listserver resides on a machine
whose current name is "jefferson". However, this name will soon migrate
to _another_ machine within the domain "village.virginia.edu", and the
computer which hosts the Spoon listserver will be renamed.
Consequently, you should not use the address "jefferson.village.virginia.edu"
when sending messages to the Spoon majordomo, the Spoon lists, or the Spoon
Collective; neither should you use it when accessing the Spoon archives
via either FTP or gopher. Instead, please use the address:
lists.village.virginia.edu
The name "lists" is an alias for whatever machine the Spoon listserver
currently resides on, and will remain valid across the name change.
The address change will _not_ apply to the the Spoon Web page, whose address
will continue to be
