Soglin retired last year. Didn't do well in his last election. But he was
mayor for a long time There should be considerable information on him if
you search the Capital Times and the Wisconsin State Journal. They did
extensive features on him going back to the 60s as he stepped away from
politics. Features included information of the Dow riots.

Reference should be able to locate tons of material.
