Query: Go Ask Alice

Hey there listmembers: For a history course on 1960-1990 I am thinking of
assigning _Go Ask Alice_, the "anonymous" diary of a teenage drug casualty,
as a primary source which also speaks to public concerns (hysteria?) about
whether youth culture had changed into a danger zone across the later
Vietnam Era.

Has anybody taught this book to undergraduates? Elsewhere? Any ideas
about contextualizing it? Many thanks,
