A book that was often used as a companion piece to The Politics of
Experience was Norman O. Brown's Love's Body.

There are a ton of other books (including a lot of fiction and poetry)
that were critical to the development of ideas during that decade, but
if we're sticking just with critical books, that would be one place to
begin.
