If you're looking for material on the anti-Regents student movement of the
'60s and are into a little archival work, the student newspapers at various
UC campuses, certainly Berkeley, LA and Santa Barbara will contain useful
data. I recall that a series appeared in UCLA's "Daily Bruin" around '66
that brought to light the connections of the Regents with big business (it
reported thatsomething like 60% of California industry was represented on
the Bd of R's in the person of members who sat on interlocking
directorates). Such exposes and the resulting discussion were widespread at
the time.
