Group 3:dreams
The dreams are interesting to read, but you might consider using client pull
in one or two of the descriptions. That i think would give the reader more
of a sense of what the dreamer perceives as they dream--a rapid fire sequence
of images or text, leaving you with a somewhat disconnected but meaningful
dream. In dreams, it seems that perception of the dreamer is what gives the
dream its meaning, so anything you can do to translate that to the reader
helps. Your background patterns/screens are interesting to look at, but not
always necess. in synch. with what the dream is about. Maybe if you put in a
couple of links with just images, relevant to that particular dream, it would
work better.
I really like the way that the pages are designed, the way that the text is
structured aesthetically, non-linear, underscores the theme of your project.
Also, i really like the use of outside quotes in some of the dreams, i think
you should use more of them. Overall, i think that your project is really
interesting, and the design is excellent. I just think that making it a bit
more schitzophrenic, would make the piece more interactive as well as
suggestive of dreams in general. I don't think it will take alot, just adding
a couple of links here and there. (Also, does the node at amber.html lead
back to a main page, or just the other dreams?)
