A general thing to start out with, and this first is for all
groups. I do a lot of my NETSCAPE on the Macintosh and when I
got to the Janus texts the colors for the table of contents
were so off that I couldn't read them. This is just something
to think about for everyone, unless you want to discriminate
against mac users (which is of course fair game,)
take a look at your work on both Macs and
PC's and see what it's like.

The project looks very well organized and the graphic design is
very well done especially on Palimpsest. It seems like a really
good balance between graphics and text. Caffeine looks like
something very cool, and maybe I don't get it and maybe it's
not all there but it kind of left me hanging.

I think the way that the project is very focused on
incorporating and jumping off from the class reading and theory
is great. It's a very ambitiou project and one well grounded in
literary theory from what I can tell.

I know not all of your stuff is there yet but jut one more
thing. I really liked the language poetry and enjoyed reading
it. It was well written from my point of view. I'm not sure I
udnerstand why it is especially suited to the web in the form
that it is in however. I think the mission of the project is
great in designing peices of a magazine soecifically for the
web, but I didn't get that impression necessarily from the
poetry. Anyway, hope this is somewhat helpful even though I may
be talking about things which will be changed soon.
