Hello, to all members of the hyperclass. This is Laura, a
hopelessly left/right brain confused individual who has a double
major in biology and English. I'm a fourth year with little
experience that I think would be relevant to this course, but
I'll let you all in on what few things I do know. I have
experience with PageMaker and Corel Draw and some scanning, those desk top
publishing type things, and recently have been playing around with
html so that I at least feel comfortable putting basic text,
line breaks, links and cheesy colors up on a page. I hope no one in
my group, which would be group three I think, is gasping with horror at my
ineptitude - I can hopefully pick things up pretty quickly.

Ok, as for a project, I would like to do something
creative that allows the reader/user to think about literature
in a new way, takes a very familiar piece of text and makes
it something extraordinary with all the groovy tools we'll be
learning about in class. I hope that's flexible enough for
everyone in my group.

I thought the physical identifiers which some people included were a
good idea so... I have long brown hair, often found in a braid,
am not overly short or tall, fat or thin, round or square, but my backpack is
that bright midnight purple/blue shade, which should help you
find me. Thanks for your attention, Laura
