Hypertextualista:

Over the next couple of days (and certainly before our next class
meeting) please email to ensp482@jefferson.village.virginia.edu a brief
introduction of yourself. Name, group number (that is, which of our
working groups do you belong to), class, major, background/expertise
relevant to the course, interests or goals for the course, and anything
else you'd like.

Also, I plan to use this email list for discussion of reading, among
other things, and I will be asking each working group to take
responsibility for kick-starting that discussion in the week before a
class meeting, once in each half of the semester (that is, each group
would be responsible for leading the email discussion once in the first
half and once in the second half of the semester). If you and the other
members of your group arrive at a consensus as to which sessions you'd
like to adopt, please email me that info (at jmu2m@virginia.edu, not via
this list) and I'll try to take those preferences into account.

If you have not yet established phone, MOO, email, or face-to-face
contact with the other members of your workgroup, please do so ASAP, and
not later than Friday. You need to be consulting with one another on
potential topics for semester projects.

Thanks and welcome aboard,

John Unsworth
