all interested in the women's center page, including WC staff:

I have put up a banner prototype in the counseling page:

http://minerva.acc.virginia.edu/~womenctr/new/counsel/counsel.html

This type of banner will go at the top of each section (i.e programming,
info.& referral, getting involved, etc... ) using a different
"woman" graphic each time. I also have other images I can use and they
don't necessarily have to flip everytime, although the image will be
varied in opacity and rotation underneath the text.

We can use the font used in the calendar, the thing is that I didn't have
it at hand on the computer I was working on. I can still change it though.
Also, we have two options, purple graphics (underneath and to the side)
and green text overlay, OR purple text overlay with green graphics....I
will put up an example of each for critiques.

also I have made the banner transparent, but I can always put another
color bckgrd on it. the thing is that the backgrd graphic for the page is
already pretty busy, so I decided not to complicate the situation any
further. Another option for the page as a whole is to go with a white
backgrd body color, change all text to purple, leaving all the links in
the aqua green we have in the side bar with the visited links in gray.
We can keep the side bar purple with either backgrd design.

The banners take forever to make, so I need to know asap to get rolling on
this. GROUP---> can we please have a meeting sometime EARLY (REALLY
EARLY) next week? How about monday night? I don't when you will get this
message, but I reply to my address (paola@virginia.edu) as soon as
possible.

alright, looking forward to responses to the site graphics layout.

have a great break, although I have the sneaky suspicion that you might be
reading this some time sunday night or monday morning. If that is the
case I hope you had a great break and eat lots! Now look at the page and
let me know what you think!

thanks,

paola

Ps: I will try to post examples for the options detailed above. I will
appropiate URL's as soon as I get the examples up. :)
