In reponse to that last question. Yes. I think that the designer SHOULD be
kind to those who have slower links. The point of designing a web page is so
that people can see and enjoy it. But most of all, you have some information
that you want to convey. Now if you have a slow link, how long are you going
to wait for tons of graphics to come up? I read a web page on web design and
it said in there that you have to consider how many people will go to another
page rather than wait for your graphics to come up. Alot of pages today
offer a title page that gives you a choice of whether to go to a graphics or
text page or a frames or no frames page. Also, putting an "alt=(name)" text
is really simple. You shoudln't think twice about doing it. Sometimes you
just want to click and go..
