I think that it is rude for everyone who designs web pages to
assume that everyone has a T1 line in their room. Personally, I
hate little java applets that cause spinning graphic
advertisements to download as well as large GIF files. Web page
designers should go for a more zen appearance and should worry about the
functionality of the web pages rather than having clutter.
