Subject: List of Programs
Dear all,
In the march + april 2002 (vol IX.2) issue of Interactions there is a
collection of short University Briefs on graduate programs that have
significant human computer interface components. They have briefs on
Aalbord U, Indiana, UBC, Umea, Melbourne, Vrije, Washington State and
Wichita State. These briefs describe programs (many of) which have
interdisciplinary features crossing into the humanities and arts.
While the programs are by and large aimed at producing interface
designers, not humanities computing scholars, they may provide an
alternative angle for looking at the digital humanities program.
What I found interesting is that these programs seem to be computing
programs that are reaching into the arts and humanities for
enrichment while the DH program is a humanities program reaching out
to computing.
Yours,
Geoffrey R.
