    Folks,

In my bleary-eyed planning for the upcoming conference, I note that the
ALLC and the ACH sessions (the panel sessions, not the lunch-time
general meetings) are dedicated, this time around, to the outcomes of
our ADHO Committee. Here's what I have, in an email from Harold, by
    way of description:

    >> Session 1 : collaborative publication strategies
    >> this could include as much of the LLC-OUP-Blackwells developments as
    >> have been decided by then, as much of the ADHO-LLC decisions as have
    >> been made by then, plans and strategies for collaborative electronic
    >> publications, and broader strategies for a coherent publications
    >> programme, which could feature the Blackwell's volume as an immediate
    >> concrete example
    >>
    >> Session 2: digital humanities international
    >> this could include as much of the ADHO proposals/decisions as have
    >> been agreed by council & committee, and have a strong emphasis on the
    >> multi-lingual multi-cultural agenda we need to develop.

Session 1 (nominally the ALLC session, chaired by Harold) is scheduled
for Friday, May 30th, 10:30 am - noon, in Room Q. Session 2 (nominally
the ACH session, chaired by me) is scheduled for Sunday, June 1st,
10:30 - noon, in Room R. Perhaps Harold's already collared some of you
to participate in session 1, but I don't think I've done the same for
session 2. Can we discuss, briefly, who will take part in which
session? Preparation is already done, mind you--we can work from the
ADHO documents. For my session, I'd like to have Elisabeth Burr take
part, for starters (Elisabeth, are you free?); I'll report out what's
been agreed by the two executive bodies, and beyond that, I'm hoping
    for volunteers...

    John
