    Hello, everyone.

I know I owe the list a longer first statement about NINCH, our
program, our situation and ambition (and that will come). For now I
just wanted to add my two cents to Julia's comment about OCLC and
    Lorcan.

NINCH has been talking with OCLC about a number of joint projects -
and we made a presentation to a number of VPs including Lorcan, who I
know fairly well. As the giant on the block, it's a bit unnerving
addressing OCLC but they are clearly quite entrepreneurial and it's
no surporise to hear that Lorcan is interested in new configurations.

My main contact is Meg Bellinger, VP for a new division on Digital
    and Preservation Resources.

    Thanks,

    David
