UBIQUITY ALERT: RIK MAES ON DATA AND REALITY
University of Amsterdam professor Rik Maes pleads
for "management realism and data modesty," and
says that organizations "are operating in an
environment where their customers know more about
them then they do themselves, no matter how
sophisticated their information systems are. They
desperately need involved managers really
understanding the world instead of blaming their failing information=
systems."
