TSD 2007 is organized by the Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of
West Bohemia, Pilsen, and the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University,
Brno. TSD 2007 is also supported by International Speech Communication
Association (ISCA).
TOPICS
Topics of the international conference will include
(but are not limited to):
Language modelling,
text corpora and tagging,
transcription problems in spoken corpora,
sense disambiguation,
links between text and speech oriented systems,
parsing issues (especially parsing problems in spoken texts),
multi-lingual issues (especially multi-lingual dialogue systems),
information retrieval and information extraction,
text/topic summarization,
machine translation,
semantic networks and ontologies,
semantic web,
speech modelling,
speech segmentation,
speech recognition,
search in speech for IR and IE,
text-to-speech synthesis,
dialogue systems,
development of dialogue strategies,
prosody in dialogues,
emotions and personality modelling,
user modelling,
knowledge representation in relation to dialogue systems,
assistive technologies based on speech and dialogue,
facial animation,
visual speech synthesis.
The keynote topic of TSD 2007 Conference is language modelling.
OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official language of the event will be English but papers on issues
relating to text and speech processing in languages other than English
are strongly encouraged.
FORMAT OF THE CONFERENCE
The conference program will include presentation of invited papers, oral
presentations, and poster/demonstration sessions. Papers will be presented
in plenary or topic oriented sessions. A preliminary conference program
will be published at the conference www pages. One day of the conference
will be dedicated for tutorials and workshops.
