         Subject: salvation from mousey woes?

A friend has written to me with the following problem:

>I am being driven to distraction by an otherwise admirable
>Logitech Optical Mouse, which rushes off and hides in a
>corner at the least provocation....
>NOTE. I am NOT cajoling a gift but want to pay serious money
>for something that will save such of my sanity as remains. No
>one else should regard that as a worthy cause, but I am
>prejudiced.

I have suggested to him that he exercise the mouse-pointer options in
Windows XP (including the animation activated when you press the CTRL-key),
but he would like to know if there's better. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Yours,
WM
