             Subject: course buyout policies

The English department here at Kentucky is reviewing its policy on faculty
course buyout, and I've been asked to collect some examples of current
policy at other institutions. I'd be grateful, then, if fellow Humanists
could send me (backchannel to mgk@pop.uky.edu) very brief descriptions of
whatever such policies may be in place at their home department.

    Thanks in advance, Matt
