Does Hyde mean "vagueness" in POETRY? (. . .unsettling instrument in the
hands of a skilled poet)??? or in philosophical discourse? I find the
unsettling vagueness of poetry thrilling. I call it ambiguity. The
vagueness of philosophical or critical discourse is another matter. Is
he calling those who discourse on philosophical or critical matters in
vague ways "poets"? I don't understand.
