I had a look at this as well and there seemed to be two calls for 
tei-notify in the post-commit-user file so I've commented one of 
them out.

Can someone (who is on the tei-notify list) confirm that they get 
a notification sent from that list the next time someone commits 
something.

How would we know the difference?
