really???? you mean the whole debian package is hosed???

when I look at e.g. tei.oucs.ox.ac.uk where its installed, it looks entirely
normal:

	lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 12 Nov  7 12:35 /usr/bin/teitohtml -> transformtei
