Apologies Peter, it was on my to-do list to ask you!  The idea 
was that Council felt with people like Piotr and Laurent there, 
that we don't think they necessarily _need_ a Council 
representative present if that involved the costs of lots of 
travel and accommodation. So the suggestion was that if you were 
interested then that is reasonable. If you are able to get 
funding from your institution then that is great (we like to 
encourage institutional contribution) but if not then the TEI 
should be able to cover this.  (When you know, let me know an 
estimate of how much it might cost the TEI so I can warn JohnU 
that you'll be putting in a claim.)
