I see that I'm way too late, data.code has already been removed. And since it never lived up to its aspirations, that may not be such a bad thing. But I still think that a mechanism for expressing a controlled vocabulary in an individual file's TEI header (rather than in its ODD like data.enumerated) is a good idea.
