[tei-council] data.code and data.word

The discussion that begins here:

(and which follows on from a lengthy preceding one) has resulted in a 
situation where there is only one attribute in TEI with a datatype of 
data.code (att.edition/@ed), and data.code itself is defined as data.word.

Can we now go ahead and redefine @ed as data.word, and remove data.code 
from the system?
