hmm. in _some_ rendering situations.

I am slightly worried that we have engineered @rendition to be potentially independent of CSS, but are talking of tying down @style explicitly to CSS, so not
as elegant symmetry as one would like.  Still, I would always vote for short-term pragmatism, so count me in.
